Retirement card

An individual who has been issued a certificate of registration as professional engineer and/or professional surveyor, and having discontinued active practice as a professional engineer and/or professional surveyor, may be eligible for a retirement card.

The retirement card is a wallet size card that states that the individual was a professional engineer and/or professional surveyor at the time of retirement, and at that time was in good standing.

An individual who requests retirement status and receives a retirement card shall not engage in the practice of engineering and/or surveying in the state of Ohio.

Requests for retirement cards must be made in writing and include the license number and mailing address of the individual. The written request may be submitted through regular mail or may be emailed to the Board.
